Amber Ly is a journalist who is drawn to telling stories that inspire hope. Even though the world may often feel bleak, she’s learned that conversation can be key to healing.

She’s currently a producer and sometimes-reporter for YR Media — formerly known as Youth Radio. In this role, she collaborates with young storytellers to cover issues at the forefront for Gen Z. She also runs YR Media’s internship program, where she mentors and trains the next generation of journalists.

In her free time, you can find her lining up at a boba shop, browsing in a record store or admiring another houseplant she might bring home and accidentally kill (oops).
